The story of  Kami-Shirataki Station in northern Japan is a touching one. It was seen as remote and unusable after a very few number of passengers boarded and got off there. It has always been on Japans Railway list to go.

 

But despite being seen as unusable, two trains make a stop at this station each day. One at 7am to pick up and at 5pm to drop off a single student who without these trains would not be able to get to school.

 

The area around Kami-Shirataki Station have lost 20 rail lines in the past years and it will not be long until this line becomes another. The student will finish her education in March and the line that made sure she would get that education will close down for good.

Positive Headline - Young Boy Brings Food To Police In A 16 Hour Stand Off

Colt Vinson is 4 years old and comes from Yukon, Oklahoma and late last month he and his parents who were on their way to dinner, drove past a 16 hour stand off. Colt was worried that the officers were out in the cold would be hungry and so enlisted the help of his moither Jillian Vinson to get two chain establishments to donate food in the form of pizza and coffee to the officers.

Colt and his family took the food and drink to the officers and they were touched by colts act of kindness.

"Your overwhelming generosity was appreciated, and made a stressful situation a little easier," the Oklahoma City Police Department wrote in a Facebook post addressing the 4-year-old and commending him on his thoughtful action.

According to the Facebook post that the departments had put up, the officers had to work longer hours due to the standoff. 4 year old Colt who is a pizza fan himself thought hat the cheesy stuff would be a great food tot give to the working officers. Vinson told news source Huffington Post that they thought to get the coffee with it, as they figured it would keep the officers awake and warm in the cold.

Once receiving the pizza and coffee the police officers returned the act by introducing Colt to the captains and chaplains and they also gave him a badge.

The gesture was a simple one, but the officers' outpouring of gratitude as well as their public show of appreciation on social media showed the 4-year-old that generosity doesn't go unnoticed.

News Headline - Adventures Of An Abandoned Cat.

Tigger is a 21 year old cat who was left abandoned at a local animal hospital in Baltimore.Adriene Buisch saw him, and fell in love with the feline almost instantly and vowed to give him the best life she could.

Adriene called the hospital and got the background on Tigger, finding out he was only left there 9 months ago, was very sweet and had a lot of life to him. She already owned a cat called Stuart with her partner Michael and were looking for a companion but thought a kitten wouldn't be the best fit but Tigger would.

The technician told the couple she was concerned about his kidneys because he drinks a lot of water. She said she would give them some time alone with Tigger so they could decide if they still wanted him. Of course they said yes and took him home to see Stuart.

The two cats instantly got along and bonded, it was almost like Stuart was telling Tigger what trouble to get into as is body was too old to do it. Unfortunately, the veterinarian's initial concerns were verified with blood work: Tigger was suffering from kidney failure. After Adriene started him on medicine and a prescription diet, Tigger's health began to improve. His fur grew back into a fluffy coat, put on healthy weight and had begun to drink a normal amount of water.

A few months later, Tigger's health took another turn for the worst. While grooming him, they discovered a golf ball-sized tumour. The couple made a bucket list not knowing what came with kidney failure and the tumour. The day after Thanksgiving, Adriene and Michael took Tigger to Bethany Beach in Delaware.

Apparently Tigger loved it and made friends along the way, he walked all along the beach to the car. Next, Adriene plans to take Tigger on a trip to visit family for Christmas
