Paparazzi For Good

A sausage maker is getting paparazzi to re focus their cameras onto the real stars of the world, those who do good for others.

Amateur photographers can also have a shot at getting paid the big bucks for these kind of snapshots, earning $500 for capturing the best weekly picture of someone committing an act of kindness.

Jimmy Dean launched this refocus, now named "Paparazzi For Good" to use professional celebrity photographers at their going rate to capture these moments of everyday people helping out others.

Paparazzi For Good, part of Jimmy Dean’s “Shine it Forward” campaign, which was extended to the general public last Friday and the company says it will choose the best photo of the week and pay $500 for the submission.

Positive Headlie - Lost Sloth

Transport officials in Ecuador were tasked with an unusual mission last week: to rescue an apparently lost and clearly adorable sloth who had tried to cross the cities road but had in the process gotten trapped in the middle of it.

According to a Jan. 22 Facebook post by Ecuador’s transport commission, the lost sloth was discovered clinging to a guard rail in the city of Quevedo.

The sloth had somehow made it halfway across the street when it decided to take a break, but don't worry, the transport officials said on Facebook that they did rescue the cloth and took it to the veterinarian where it was given a clean bill of health and then was returned to the wild.

Positive Headline - Young Boy Brings Food To Police In A 16 Hour Stand Off

Colt Vinson is 4 years old and comes from Yukon, Oklahoma and late last month he and his parents who were on their way to dinner, drove past a 16 hour stand off. Colt was worried that the officers were out in the cold would be hungry and so enlisted the help of his moither Jillian Vinson to get two chain establishments to donate food in the form of pizza and coffee to the officers.

Colt and his family took the food and drink to the officers and they were touched by colts act of kindness.

"Your overwhelming generosity was appreciated, and made a stressful situation a little easier," the Oklahoma City Police Department wrote in a Facebook post addressing the 4-year-old and commending him on his thoughtful action.

According to the Facebook post that the departments had put up, the officers had to work longer hours due to the standoff. 4 year old Colt who is a pizza fan himself thought hat the cheesy stuff would be a great food tot give to the working officers. Vinson told news source Huffington Post that they thought to get the coffee with it, as they figured it would keep the officers awake and warm in the cold.

Once receiving the pizza and coffee the police officers returned the act by introducing Colt to the captains and chaplains and they also gave him a badge.

The gesture was a simple one, but the officers' outpouring of gratitude as well as their public show of appreciation on social media showed the 4-year-old that generosity doesn't go unnoticed.

News Headline - Adventures Of An Abandoned Cat.

Tigger is a 21 year old cat who was left abandoned at a local animal hospital in Baltimore.Adriene Buisch saw him, and fell in love with the feline almost instantly and vowed to give him the best life she could.

Adriene called the hospital and got the background on Tigger, finding out he was only left there 9 months ago, was very sweet and had a lot of life to him. She already owned a cat called Stuart with her partner Michael and were looking for a companion but thought a kitten wouldn't be the best fit but Tigger would.

The technician told the couple she was concerned about his kidneys because he drinks a lot of water. She said she would give them some time alone with Tigger so they could decide if they still wanted him. Of course they said yes and took him home to see Stuart.
The two cats instantly got along and bonded, it was almost like Stuart was telling Tigger what trouble to get into as is body was too old to do it. Unfortunately, the veterinarian's initial concerns were verified with blood work: Tigger was suffering from kidney failure. After Adriene started him on medicine and a prescription diet, Tigger's health began to improve. His fur grew back into a fluffy coat, put on healthy weight and had begun to drink a normal amount of water.
A few months later, Tigger's health took another turn for the worst. While grooming him, they discovered a golf ball-sized tumour. The couple made a bucket list not knowing what came with kidney failure and the tumour. The day after Thanksgiving, Adriene and Michael took Tigger to Bethany Beach in Delaware.
Apparently Tigger loved it and made friends along the way, he walked all along the beach to the car. Next, Adriene plans to take Tigger on a trip to visit family for Christmas

News Headline - A Heartworming Story Of A Pizza Delivery Man

There is no denying that recently the news on our TV's and in the papers, all over our social media and the internet hasn't been anywhere close to positive. But to break up this negative News I want to share with you the heart warming story that involves a 22 year old pizza delivery man.

A church congregation's giant tip meant so much more to this pizza delivery man than just some extra cash.
Jeff Louis is a 22-year-old who works for Gionino’s pizza shop, he brought an order to Life Point Church in Mentor, Ohio late last month. But the delivery wasn't like any he had experienced before.

Louis was brought to the church's stage and was presented with more than $700 (£463) in tips from the congregation members, WKYC reported.
The 22-year-old, who's been going through a difficult time, was so overwhelmed with emotion that he made a video, revealing why the tip was so meaningful.

"I've been having such a hard time lately, just struggling to stay clean," Louis said in the video through tears. "I'm just trying to get my life back and [the gesture] just really truly amazes me -- that people who don't even know me just wanted to help me out that much."

When Louis arrived at the church's parking lot that day, he was told to bring a single box of pizza out of the several that were ordered to Pastor Ken Wright on stage. The 22-year-old said in the video that he initially thought the request was very odd.

When the delivery man got on stage, however, 'the most amazing thing happened.' While Wright originally came up with a plan to tip Louis $100, the congregation shocked both him and Louis.
"You know it was spontaneous. It just happened," the pastor told WKYC, recalling the moment.

"They started lining up one by one with their own cash tips."
Louis summed up the entire experience with one perfect word: "Blessed."

How great is that story? a single man was struggling and complete strangers took it upon themselves to help him, that's a truly amazing thing that happened and I really hope that Louis is still feeling blessed and is having a better time now.

This story was found on this link (Pizza Delivery Man's Story) and this page also contains the vide that Louis mad about the whole situation.
