Shelter dogs from Sao Paolo's slums were centre court for an exhibition tennis match at the brazil Open. Four Pups, Frida, Mel, Isabelle and Costela were trained to be ball Boys , they managed to prove themselves at retrieving stray shots but not so good at returning the tennis balls.
There were plenty of delays as Players, Coaches and god trainers on the side lines tried to coax the Dogs to five up the bright coloured balls. The match was made to raise awareness of rescue dogs nationwide who need people to adopt them. Competitors Spain's Roberto Carballes Baena and Portugal’s Gastao Elias, played along but the dogs were definitely the big winners of the game.
