Draw out your font lightly in pencil, make any adjustments before the next step
Outline in fine liner, use a ruler to copy your straight edges if you don't think doing it freehand will end up neat
I was going to leave it as negative space but then I realised how weird it looked that way. so I used a fine liner to fill each letter in.
