Blogmas Day 24 - Blogmas Experience
So I've posted every single day of December and runs until now or for others, till Christmas time. Blogmas has been such an enjoyable experience I didn't think I would initially enjoy it but I loved every day of it, it gave me a change to be spontaneous and somewhat out of my comfort zone with the topics.
It did stress me out at times when I was unable to think of topics to talk about each day but I always came out on top and hopefully you've all enjoyed reading my Blogmas posts, if you'd like you could leave Blogmas post ideas for Christmas 2016.
Hopefully you will also join me for Blolgmas 2016 (sounds really weird when I say that) and hopefully it will be as much as a wonderful experience as it has been this year.
Have A Great Christmas Eve and to those who wont visit my blog tomorrow Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays and I'll see you for the New Year.

Blogmas Day 23 - Christmas Shopping
Christmas is often a time to show people your love for them and their love for you and its always the thought of the gift that matters not how much it cost. This year I set up my card a week or so before I begun buying things for Christmas. Just like most people out of their I've struggled a lot with what to get people.
I did however spend £15 on a jumper a friend had said she liked and wanted, she sneakily opened it before Christmas and told me she loved it, thankfully. However it didn't fit her, even worse for me it would cost mt another £10 to send it to Belgium (not its origin) just to swap it for the next size up. My other friend came to my rescue and has taken the jumper for her sister and is going to give me the money for it.
I'm not sure what I will get her now, maybe the same jumper the next size up or something completely different but the same amount of thought and effort will go into finding her something she will adore just as much as she did the jumper.
Although I struggled with finding gifts for people I've become aware of the fact its so much fun to buy people gifts that make you laugh and will definitely make them laugh, just sharing a part of how much you care with them is one of the most magnificent things that can be experienced.

Blogmas Day 20 - I'm So Forgetful
Okay so am I the only one that can eat the Christmas calendar every day for the first week of December and then suddenly forget you even own a calendar and then when you re realise, you have to eat like 13 chocolates in one sitting to be back up to date? because recently I've had to eat a weeks worth of them.
Besides that I'm just as forgetful, I mean a while back I would leave for school and lock the door, get to my bus stop and then forget if I actually locked the door, I would fall into a pit of panic when I got on the bus without going back to check. It would often result in calling my dad who would be a little mad because he would have to leave work to go and check, or I would face to panic throughout the day and then get home to a perfectly locked day. Somehow I've managed to overcome that but that's probably down to leaving 14 minutes before your bus comes even though the stop is like 2 minutes away just in case I do forget so I have time to check.
I can walk into a room and forget why I walked in so I either walk right out or walk around that room just to make it out like I did something I needed to do until I remember.
The joys of forgetting.

Blogmas Day 19 - Am I Ill?
Besides the bad left knee and the getting bad right knee, the sometimes painful right hip I'm physically fine.
It's Christmas time and I feel near to no Christmas spirit. There are days I get little bursts of excitement in my stomach and shower in Christmas cheer but then there are days I just wish to be done with it all. Take down the tree pack it back into the loft and not hear another Christmas song.
But I guess this is how it goes so besides my physical pain I'm growing older, and Christmas is becoming less of a big thing for me. Last year was the same and I wish I could spend every day in the run up to Christmas being full of cheer but I'm not Peter Pan. However I do hope to enjoy all of the love Christmas moments I get because there will come a day I won't get any of those moments.

Blogmas Day 13 - A Letter To 11 Year Old Me.
There are many times in my life that I've wanted to go back and change something so the outcome would be different. Most mistakes were made at a young age but I've grown and become a somewhat better person because i learned from those mistakes. However some mistakes were made that took me in the opposite direction and that's why today for Day 13 of Blogmas, I'll be writing a letter to the 11 year old version of myself.
Dear Younger Me,
By now you've just begun secondary school and sorry to spoil your fun but you'll move schools again in a few years. But whilst you are where you are, don't be afraid of not fitting in, I know that from new experiences, not fitting in, and standing out from the crowd is much better for you. Also, those people you currently are calling friends? you'll only be in contact with two of them in 6 years time.
Academically in your first secondary school, you'll do fine but its when you move schools that you will begin to struggle except for in English and Business, stick with them, work hard on them its truly worth it.In the final two years of secondary school, you will experience wonderful family reunion, amazing friendships, heart wrenching loss and amazement. Although this all may sound a little far fetched, I'm telling you that everything you will experience throughout your life up until our paths merge, will help make you into a better person, you just need to use the power of strength in the right way.
And for what happens after secondary school? listen to mom, don't think otherwise or else you'll miss out on some of the best friendships you will ever have, the course you end up choosing isn't terrible but isn't marvellous but its worth the effort you put in which when it comes to writing is a lot.
You just need to keep your head up, stand up and stand out, you are not defined by your height, weight, hair colour or sexuality. You are you, and lets face it, that makes you amazing.
From Me.

Blogmas Day 11 - The Three Kings Poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Three Kings came riding from far away,
Melchior and Gaspar and Baltasar;
Three Wise Men out of the East were they,
And they travelled by night and they slept by day,
For their guide was a beautiful, wonderful star.
The star was so beautiful, large, and clear,
That all the other stars of the sky
Became a white mist in the atmosphere,
And by this they knew that the coming was near
Of the Prince foretold in the prophecy.
Three caskets they bore on their saddle-bows,
Three caskets of gold with golden keys;
Their robes were of crimson silk with rows
Of bells and pomegranates and furbelows,
Their turbans like blossoming almond-trees.
And so the Three Kings rode into the West,
Through the dusk of night, over hill and dell,
And sometimes they nodded with beard on breast
And sometimes talked, as they paused to rest,
With the people they met at some wayside well.
"Of the child that is born," said Baltasar,
"Good people, I pray you, tell us the news;
For we in the East have seen his star,
And have ridden fast, and have ridden far,
To find and worship the King of the Jews."
And the people answered, "You ask in vain;
We know of no king but Herod the Great!"
They thought the Wise Men were men insane,
As they spurred their horses across the plain,
Like riders in haste, and who cannot wait.
And when they came to Jerusalem,
Herod the Great, who had heard this thing,
Sent for the Wise Men and questioned them;
And said, "Go down unto Bethlehem,
And bring me tidings of this new king."
So they rode away; and the star stood still,
The only one in the gray of morn
Yes, it stopped, it stood still of its own free will,
Right over Bethlehem on the hill,
The city of David where Christ was born.
And the Three Kings rode through the gate and the guard,
Through the silent street, till their horses turned
And neighed as they entered the great inn-yard;
But the windows were closed, and the doors were barred,
And only a light in the stable burned.
And cradled there in the scented hay,
In the air made sweet by the breath of kine,
The little child in the manger lay,
The child, that would be king one day
Of a kingdom not human but divine.
His mother Mary of Nazareth
Sat watching beside his place of rest,
Watching the even flow of his breath,
For the joy of life and the terror of death
Were mingled together in her breast.
They laid their offerings at his feet:
The gold was their tribute to a King,
The frankincense, with its odor sweet,
Was for the Priest, the Paraclete,
The myrrh for the body's burying.
And the mother wondered and bowed her head,
And sat as still as a statue of stone;
Her heart was troubled yet comforted,
Remembering what the Angel had said
Of an endless reign and of David's throne.
Then the Kings rode out of the city gate,
With a clatter of hoofs in proud array;
But they went not back to Herod the Great,
For they knew his malice and feared his hate,
And returned to their homes by another way.
Melchior and Gaspar and Baltasar;
Three Wise Men out of the East were they,

Blogmas Day 10 - 10 Steps To Get Into The Christmas Spirit.
- Watch some great classic Christmas movies that play a lot during the Christmas period. These movies are pretty good and are mostly family orientated. Watch films like, The Polar Express, Elf, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, A Christmas Carol, Home Alone and The Night Before Christmas.
- Get in touch with your family an friends, no Christmas is complete without the ones you love.
- Read Christmas Themed book books like 'The Night Before Christmas' 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' 'The Polar Express' and Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol.". Some Families have traditions that on Christmas eve, one of the parents would read the night before Christmas as a bedtime story to their children. But if you are not a child, pick up the book yourself and dive on in.
- Decorate as much as you can, Ornaments, Christmas cards, popcorn strings, all the Christmas food, Hang chocolates and candy canes on the Christmas tree.
- Make a to do list of things to accomplish before December 25, This could include wrapping presents, buy the components to the Christmas dinner, put up the tree, make the Christmas cakes, etc.
- Send out Christmas cards, Get craft supplies and make them for family, friends and people in situations who cant be with their family on Christmas. This could be a fun activity to do with young children or with friends.
- Make a Christmas list, it should contain presents that you would want.
- Make sure everything is clean and uncluttered, by keeping everything clean and uncluttered you wont actually spend time cleaning your environment, just concentrating on Christmas.
- Make a countdown to Christmas that everyone can see, this will help you to feel more 'Christmassy' as the days go by.
- Get an advent calendar, it is delicious and a festive way to get into the spirit of Christmas, It helps the little and big ones stay more patient until the big day.

Blogmas Day 9 - The Origin Of The Nativity.

Some of it is in the Bible. The Gospel of Matthew mentions the Wise Men and the Star of Bethlehem, while the Gospel of Luke describes awestruck shepherds and says that Jesus was born in a stable because all the inns were full. Over the centuries, the customary Nativity scene was embellished with other lore, giving us the image of the baby Jesus lying in a manger and surrounded by his parents, Mary and Joseph, as shepherds, oxen, asses, and three Wise Men look on. But we have it on no less an authority than Pope Benedict XVI that the traditional crèche tableau has little basis in fact. There were, for example, likely no animals present, the pope writes in his new book, Jesus of Nazareth: The Infancy Narratives. The tradition of the ox and ass stems from early Christian teachings that even animals recognized Jesus as the Son of God. Benedict is not alone in casting doubt on the popular version of Christ's birth. "It's virtually impossible to reduce the accounts to a single core narrative," said religious historian L. Michael White.

- Cover the cake with a clean tea towel and then leave in a cool place for at least one day.
- To make the icing, lightly whisk the egg whites adding the sugar at intervals. Beat well until the icing reaches soft peaks. Add the glycerine if using and the lemon juice.
- Spread icing all over cake either flat iced using a clean ruler or by forming soft peaks. Decorate with Christmas ornaments.

Blogmas Day 6 - Away In A Manger
Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.
The stars in the sky looked down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.
The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,
But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes.
I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky
And stay by my cradle til morning is nigh.
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever, and love me, I pray.
Bless all the dear children in thy tender care,
And take us to heaven, to live with Thee there.
