- Watch some great classic Christmas movies that play a lot during the Christmas period. These movies are pretty good and are mostly family orientated. Watch films like, The Polar Express, Elf, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, A Christmas Carol, Home Alone and The Night Before Christmas.
- Get in touch with your family an friends, no Christmas is complete without the ones you love.
- Read Christmas Themed book books like 'The Night Before Christmas' 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas' 'The Polar Express' and Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol.". Some Families have traditions that on Christmas eve, one of the parents would read the night before Christmas as a bedtime story to their children. But if you are not a child, pick up the book yourself and dive on in.
- Decorate as much as you can, Ornaments, Christmas cards, popcorn strings, all the Christmas food, Hang chocolates and candy canes on the Christmas tree.
- Make a to do list of things to accomplish before December 25, This could include wrapping presents, buy the components to the Christmas dinner, put up the tree, make the Christmas cakes, etc.
- Send out Christmas cards, Get craft supplies and make them for family, friends and people in situations who cant be with their family on Christmas. This could be a fun activity to do with young children or with friends.
- Make a Christmas list, it should contain presents that you would want.
- Make sure everything is clean and uncluttered, by keeping everything clean and uncluttered you wont actually spend time cleaning your environment, just concentrating on Christmas.
- Make a countdown to Christmas that everyone can see, this will help you to feel more 'Christmassy' as the days go by.
- Get an advent calendar, it is delicious and a festive way to get into the spirit of Christmas, It helps the little and big ones stay more patient until the big day.
